When you take a boat tour in Tam Coc, you will be taken to some famous places where most of the beautiful places has been photographed on the social network. Have you seen the river surrounded by rice fields and mountains? Here you will have the opportunity to see it in real life. I recommend that you should not miss this boat tour when you visit Ninh Binh.
You can also easily combine this trip with near location such as … It just takes10 minutes away from Tam Coc boat station or Bich Dong Pagoda…
Why should you choose to travel by Tam Coc boat tour?
Meet local people who have skill of sailing with their great feet
Tourism in Vietnam has made a number of strong developments in recent years and NinhBinh is not an exception. The high tourist rates mean the longer hour boatmen work. Although tourism is the major source of income for local people. They always have to sail long hours with hands, it makes their arm aches. For this reason, the Vietnamese have come up with a clever idea – sailing with leg
Rowing with leg is not only faster but also uses less energy
Furthermore, they can do a lot of things in parallel while they are using their legs for boating, they also can use their hands for other activities such as using the phone, eating or drinking. Because this method is quite effective, many people have chosen it. Rowing with leg have become popular and is really impressed in Ninh Binh province.
Economic Development of a Local Area
Many local people rely on tourism as their main source of income, including the boatman in Tam Coc. By taking a boat tour, you are helping local people have a better life. Please do not forget to leave a tip for them – those who are working really hard to serve you after finishing your trip
Enjoy the most beautiful scenery in Ninh Binh
Tam Coc is known for wonderful views with the surrounding limestone mountains. The two banks of the river were full of fields of local people. At the halfway of this boat trips, you will have an opportunity to admire the peak of Mua cave from a different point of view. During this tour, you will relax and feel serenity of this place.
The Introduction of Tam Coc Boat Tour
Tam Coc boat tour will start at the center of Tam Coc village. Here are some things to keep in mind:
Boats can accommodate up to 2 people. Although this was written at the ticket counter, I saw boats with more than 2 people. However, I strongly recommend that you should follow this rule. The more people in the boat, the more difficult for the boatman on the tour.
If you are planning for a boat tour at midday, you should not forget to bring a hat or umbrella to protect yourself from the sun or the rain! Also remember to bring some water
Important! – At the end of the trip after you will be out of the cave, there are some boats with full of fruits, foods and drinks. Those people will try to convince you to buy with unreasonable prices. They will go a long way to make you feel guilty if you do not buy anything. I would advise to say “no” politely. And then you should tell with rower that you will tip for them after finishing the trip. If you are wondering how much you should tip and it is up to you to make the answer, from 20,000 to 40,000 VND would be great. However, you can give them as much as you want.
Boat tour’s price

When should you arrange a trip to Trang An?
The most ideal occasion for you to visit Trang An is beginning days of a year, from January to March, when the weather is typically cool and not so hot. This period is also the festival time of Bai Dinh pagoda, so you can combine doing sightseeing of Trang An and the pagoda together.
However, there is one drawback which is that visitors are very crowded and you might have to wait for the boat for a long time at this time. Besides, you can also consult below recommended occasions for combination of Trang An travelling and other tourism areas near that.
Hoa Lu traditional festival, also named as Truong Yen or Co Lau festival, takes place anually on from August to October according to the lunar calender
At the end of May and early June is ripe rice season of Ninh Binh
Travellers can participate in Trang An tours to admire stunning and woderful views of this place, also known as “ Ha Long bay on land”.
I received an invitation from Mr.Lee, the CEO Hanoi Explore Travel, to experience a Ninh Binh tour for one day. At that time, I felt absolutely amazed at how breathtaking and tranquil views of seemingly –endless and windingmountains, caves, lakes, rivers and paddy fields were!
How can 1 day Ninh Binh Tour interest us?
It was such a stunning place that painted me an image contrasting with color of the imposing, majestic and Bai Dinh Pagoda, which was extensive and corresponded to a Southeast Asian pagoda in sizebut with modern exotic architecture. It was also kind, simple-hearted, honest boatman at the destination that arose tourists’ interest and made it become the most attractive place in the North. This image was in contradiction with the rapid developement of tourism and the beauty, of Hoa Lu ancient capital, Trang An District, Ninh Binh Province, which was needed to be preserved.
In this article, I am going to tell you about my story of one-day Ninh Binh tour despite of its shortness, it gave me a complete surprise. Ninh Binh is a tourist attraction I am immensely proud to introduce to my domestic and foreign friends about the beauty of the North in particular and of Vietnam as the whole.
The invitation to experience one-day Ninh Binh Tour
Before the departure for 2 days, Mr.Lee, the CEO Hanoi Explore Travel, had provided me information about this short tour. The tour picked up the passengers and departured from The Old Quarters near which I stayed at a hotel on the well-known Ta Hien Street, luckily.
After the guide took me to the hotel at exactly 8:00 am, it started pouring with rain; however, this did not discourage me to explore the charm and elegancy of Ninh Binh. After 2-hour travelling on an opulent and luxurious coach of 24 seats, we sat our foot on Ninh Binh land.
The first destination was Bai Dinh pagoda, the biggest and privated-owned pagoda in Southeast Asia.
The Bai Dinh Pagoda
I had came to Bai Dinh Pagoda in 2013 and it had not left a strong impression on me until this occassion. I had reckoned that it was simply a pagoda constructed to serve tourism purposes and it was a totally self-contained work, which had made me not interested in. That was why this time I made the decision to get separated from the group with the aim of travelling around the pagoda to see whether there were any changes compared to my previous visit.
Everything was barely changed. The only difference was that the tower where it was considered to be the place the bone ash of Thich Ca Mau Ni God was buried and carried from India was established. I purchased a ticket to visit the tower, mainly to go to the 12th floor and do sightseeing from a panoramic view.
After seeing the bell of the towerbriefly and worship room of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva with a thousand of eyes and hands, I walked quickly along the corridor where the statues of Arhats were displayed. I also bought an extra of ticket priced at 50,000 VND and took the elevator to the 12th floor to see the sights there and enjoyed the scenery with great relish.
From the top of the tower, I could see the dramatic, wide landscape of the pagoda spreading out on the mountains. “What a splendid and magnificent view!”, I exclaimed. From that point, I could saw ranges of rocky, majestic mountains far away covered by mist. I could also noticed the lake, river and tile roofs with classic architecture. The whole spectacular view created a poetic painting.
I left the Bai Dinh land and kept moving to the next destination, Trang An, where it had been expected that there would be many new things including nature, ancient but mysterious caves together with poetic rivers for us to explore.
Trang An – The wonderful Land
On the bus from the Bai Dinh pagoda back to the restaurant for having lunch, I realized that the view out of the windowpanes looked even more breathtaking. Small houses typical of villages of the North of Vietnam were built right at the foot of the huge rocky mountains. There werelarge rivers and golden paddy fields and some limestone cliffs huddling together.
After that, we came to a halt for a while at a restaurant and had a buffet lunch with many food options from European, Asian to the most famous local cuisine such as goat meat, burnt fried rice, etc. Before getting on the coach to visit Trang An Tourist Area, we took a rest for 1 hour.
Right after we sat out foot on the boat, we wore life jackets . While the boat sailed fast on the green water surface of the lake, we could notice some dark green algae very clearly.
Then the boatman started to take us to visit the first cave, which was a small cleft at the bottom of a rocky mountain. The cave was both low and deep , and that was why the captain instructed to sit down near the internal boat area instead of sitting on the boat seat.
Then the captain artistically headed the small boat through the small and narrow clefts. The boat drifted for a while until there was bright light outside the mouth of the cave, we realized that we got out of the cave.
The boat was drifting, all of a sudden, the color of water turned into sapphire green, which was associated with dark green algae, ranges of limestone mountains, the small boat and pagodas, all of this created a marvellous atmosphere. This caused all members of the group to be utterly thrilled.
We continued to explore the next cave and the captain warned us that it would be smaller and longer compared to the previous cave, and there would be even some parts of the caves with the length the same as an adult’s one as well. We turned on our flahslights to see more clearly the rocks of crystal quartz with possibly hundreds or even thousands of year olds in the cave. The boat continued to drift.
Passing through the second cave, we came to the place which was called “ out – of –the way” with four directions covered by jagged mountains. The fact that the pagodas were built among this place was truly a special thing. “What a fairyland”, I said to myself.
In this cave, there was an unique architectural work which had been built and emerged from the water right in the middle of the lake. (The layout of this work was the same as the Turtle Tower of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi).
Then we moved into the third cave, which was also the last one, then headed to the spot where King Kong film had been shot. From a distance, we already could see the boat for fighting which had been invented from a damaged aircraft by some clever American soldiers. Far a little from that were thatched houses of the clan living in seclusion in the film. There were around 6 people performing the task of wearing loinclothes and make-up, with hands holding spears. When visitors came, they would wave their hands, smile and take photographs with them.
Ending the last destination – the spot of shooting a Holywood film, I felt extremely pleased, perhaps because Vietnam, my homeland, had such beautiful places boyond my imagination. Never did any tourist attraction like Trang An organize such a successful trip. In particular, we did not catch a glimpse of litter because the boatman was aware of collecting the litter on the lake. It was also because the tourists did not catch sight of any rubbish, they did not want to dispose of unwanted things on such green flow of water. Tourism servers here were similar to boatmen and souvenir sellers who were all gentle, good-natured, cheerful and always kept smiling to tourits.
My short trip ended when the boat docked. We moved out of the boat to come back Hanoi city. They dropped us off at the centre of Hanoi capital at 6:30 pm

Nha Trang is a standout amongst the most well known spots situated in the nation of Vietnam. This is one of the most established human settlements in entire Vietnam and is otherwise called one of the well known scuba diving spots in the nation with a lot of diverse marine life.
5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD TRAVEL TO NHA TRANG, VIETNAM
1. It’s (almost) always sunny in Nha Trang
Nha Trang’s tropical savannah climate means the sun’s almost always shining, except for a few wet months between September and December when monsoon rains strike. Plan your visit to Nha Trang for January through August and you’re golden. With temperatures in the 80’s year-round and almost no wind, thanks to the mountains and islands that shelter Nha Trang Bay, Nha Trang is looking more and more like a beach-lover’s dream destination. But, there’s more…
2. Sandy, palm-lined beaches stretch for miles
Who doesn’t love a picturesque white sand beach? Throw in the stunning turquoise waters of the East Sea and a scenic display of lush offshore islands dotting the horizon and you’re probably wondering if you even need to read the next nine reasons.
While Tran Phu Beach is the largest and most popular of Nha Trang’s beaches, head for the beaches near Hon Chong Promontory for more of a local flavor or take a day trip to nearby Bai Dai Beach for an even more off-the-beaten-path experience.
3. The Nha Trang nightlife does not disappoint
When it comes to nightlife, Nha Trang does not disappoint. In fact, party town (or laid-back drinker) is written all over it. From rooftop lounges to nightclubs and beachfront dance floors, there are plenty of reasons to stay out late in Nha Trang.
Unlike the hindering curfews of the capital, Nha Trang stays open late. For a late night bite, visit Phu Dong Park for a full-fledged night food market.
4. Island hopping opportunities are endless
19 tropical islands sit just off of Nha Trang’s coast. Snorkel over coral reef, cannonball off the catamaran into crystal clear seas, and accept cocktails from the floating bar. Nha Trang’s vacation vibes follow you right out into the sea. You’ll be hard pressed to find another spot in the world where island hopping is as accessible, affordable, and amazing as it is in Nha Trang.
Actually, boat trip in Nha Trang is a synonym for “booze cruise” because the trip is much more about drinking than seeing fish. There are some choices when it comes to boat trip for tourists. For example, the most popular with those packers is the Funky Money which includes stops at floating bars, and fun and memorable live entertainment from the Funky Monkey Boy Band. You could book directly from the official office or from your hotel.
5. A trendy, cosmopolitan vibe
Unlike its seaside counterparts in Mui Ne and Phu Quoc, Nha Trang is uniquely cosmopolitan. Soaring high-rises, trendy restaurants, and chic boutiques fill the well-groomed beachside promenade on Tran Phu Street, while the vibrant nightlife scene picks up at sundown. Your options to dine and do are as endless as in any bustling city, with the added luxury of white sand beaches nearby. In short, Nha Trang is as cosmopolitan as you want it to be, a perfect combination of urban and coastal.
If you want to get a family-friendly, upscale experience, Emperor Cruises will offer both day and overnight trips on the luxury junk exploring Nha Trang bay. The day trip will include seafood lunch along with alcohol, full equipment for snorkeling. The sunset cocktail plus with dinner cruise is more affordable, with unlimited cocktails, wine, beer, and a five-course seafood dinner. Source : Intrepidtravel

City Beach, Nha Trang: Loud and proud (say it!), the high-rise, the high-energy beach resort of Nha Trang enjoys a stunning setting: ringed by a necklace of hills, with a sweeping crescent beach, the city’s turquoise bay is dotted with tropical islands. The shoreline has been given a huge makeover in recent years, with parks and sculpture gardens spread along the impressive promenade, while the streets inland reveal some quirky boutiques and a cosmopolitan array of dining options. As the restaurants wind down, the nightlife cranks up – Nha Trang is a party town at heart like any self-respecting resort should be. Forget the cafes of the capital; people play late in this town. If cocktails and shooters aren’t your flavors, there are some more sedate activities on offer. Try an old-school spa treatment with a visit to a mud bath or explore centuries-old Cham towers still standing in the center of town. This part of the country has its very own microclimate and the rains tend to come from October until December, a time best avoided if you are into lazing on the beach or diving in the tropical waters.
4. Hon Chong Beach
Hon Chong Beach, Nha Trang: The narrow granite promontory of Hon Chong offers fine views of the mountainous coastline north of Nha Trang and the nearby islands. The beach here has a more local flavor than Nha Trang Beach (but the accompanying refuse is unpleasant). Still, it’s fun to watch the local kids do Acapulco-style swan dives into the ocean.
There are a reconstructed traditional run residence and a great cafe. A taxi here from the city center is around 30,000d.About 300m south of Hon Chong (towards Nha Trang) and a few dozen meters from the beach is tiny Hon Do (Red Island), which has a Buddhist temple on top. To the northeast is Hon Rua (Tortoise Island), which really does resemble a tortoise. The two islands of Hon Yen (Bird’s-Nest Island) are off in the distance to the east.
A well-known spot of scenic beauty, the Rock Hon Chong is not only attractive to visitors to Nha Trang but also no less allure to the local inhabitants, children as well as grownups who have made frequent visits to this place. In the vernacular, it means the “Husband Rock”, the name given to one of the two rocks, the couple, the other one is the wife.
5. Hon Ba Mountain
Hon Ba Mountain may take a while to climb but up on the summit is a beautiful little house built by Alexander Yersin, a French doctor, who used it as a little getaway. With a cool climate all year round, Hon Ba Nature Reserve is dubbed “The Da Lat of Nha Trang,” and all your sweat will evaporate thanks to the cool winds found up here.
6. Bai Dai Beach
A fine alternative to Tran Phu Beach, Bai Dai beach 18 miles (30 kilometers) away from the center of Nha Trang is more peaceful with a more local feel. The waves here make it a fantastic location for surfing, and if you hit up The Shack, you can rent reliable surfing equipment. If surfing is not your thing, just get a beer and chill on a hammock by the beach.
7. Enjoy Boat Cruise
Flanked by over 70 islands, Nha Trang’s sea water is clear so plethora of boat trips along with the easy availability of booking agents is really a self-explanatory. The common trip route includes Mun (Mun), Mieu (Miễu), Mot (Một), and Tam (Tằm) islands. A trip on a packed boat often includes lunch, transport, and a few stops for sunbathing at beautiful beaches along with an aquarium with no fees.
8. Diep Son Island & Sandbar, Van Phong Bay
Lying in the calm, warm waters of Van Phong Bay, just an hour north of Nha Trang, Diep Son is a mini-archipelago of small green islands. At low tide, a curving sandbar is exposed, linking three of the islets via a ‘sand bridge’. The long sweep of white sand between the three green islands in the blue bay is very picturesque. Although Diep Son is increasingly popular with domestic tour groups, it’s best visited independently, because this way you can avoid the crowds. Travel to Diep Son Island is an easy combination of road and sea transport between Nha Trang city, Van Gia village, and Hon Bip island. Diep Son makes a good day trip from Nha Trang, or as part of a wider exploration of Van Phong Bay and the surrounding area. A great option for budget travellers is to spend the night on Hon Bip island in a tent or bamboo hut on stilts above the water.

Ninh Binh is emerging as one of the most exciting destinations during your Vietnam tour. For a long time, it is known as a choice of short getaway from Hanoi. In this blog, I will share my experience when traveling to such destinations with my friends. Recommended Attractions and Things to do in Ninh Binh for traveler who is first time to travel to Ninh Binh are included.
Cuc Phuong National Park
It will take you more than one hour drive to get to Cuc Phuong National Park from Tam Coc. Cuc Phuong is generally a well-preserved rainforest. There is an Endangered Primates Rescue Center near the entrance that you should pay a visit with a guide. This is house of about 150 primates being prepared to be released back to the wild. There are many ways to explore Cuc Phuong via the densely rainforested road, but biking is the best choice to slowly stroll through the jungle, the prehistoric trees and the caves. The park is also the home to many faunas, most notably butterflies and birds. The best way to watch the animals here is at night, but be sure to have a guide accompanied with you.
2. Admiring the Terrestrial Halong Bay
When driving along the National Route 1A, after passing Ninh Binh City, you will encounter one of the most spectacular sights in Vietnam – Tam Coc (means Three Grottos). Hiring a boat and it will take your through an extensive network of waterways between imposing limestone cliffs erecting from the flat rice paddies. Although the scene still cannot match Halong Bay in terms of size and the number of limestone mountains, Tam Coc is more accessible and less touristy. As the name might suggest, you will undergo three low and dark caves, another reminiscence to Halong Bay. During the trip, you can also have the chance to visit Bich Dong Temple (free entrance) which provides incredible views of the surroundings.
TrangAn is another nearby attractions that is quite similar to Tam Coc. Although TrangAn has more caves to pass through, it is more crowded, especially in high season.
3. Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
As Vietnam’s capital city, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital in Ninh Binh is the predecessor of Thang Long (the former name of Hanoi). The royal city is a short bike ride from Ninh Binh City. It is surrounded by high limestone mountains which is believed to protect Hoa Lu from invasion. Inside the complex, there is an iconic archway in the entrance and several temples including the temple of Dinh Tien Hoang, who liberated the country from the Southern Han in the 10th century.
4. Van Long Nature Reserve
Not far away from Cuc Phuong National park is Van Long Nature Reserve. Although the scene is somewhat similar to that in Tam Coc, taking a one hour boat trip in Van Long is a great way to relax and discover numerous species of exotic birds in their natural habitat. You could also witness the endangered monkey living here. Watching the sunset while meandering along the river at Van Long is a great way to end an exciting day in Ninh Binh.

5. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda
One of the most photographed areas of Ninh Binh after Tam Coc, the Bich Dong pagoda is a beautiful ancient temple from the 15th century. The are various shrines and pagodas on different levels, climbing up the hillside and into a cave so make sure to spend some time exploring them all.
6. Take a Tam Coc Boat Trip
A boat trip through the rice paddies, between the karst hills is a must-do in Ninh Binh. The ladies row the boats with their feet which makes for a slow and relaxing journey. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the journey will take you beneath 3 caves carved into the rock by the river. Make sure to go in the early morning or late afternoon for the best light and to escape the crowds of day-trippers from Hanoi.
Be aware that the ladies selling crafts and snacks inside the caves can be rather boisterous. Be polite and smile if you are going to let them down.
7. Explore Hang Mua Cave
This is one of our favourite areas in Ninh Ninh with plenty to see. Make sure to head as far as you can into the Spring Cave. You’ll have to take off your shoes and bring your own torch to find your way on the watery path! Through another cave, you can meander beside the rice paddies all the way out to near the Tam Coc river route.
An alternative to Tam Coc is a boat trip through the Trang An grottoes. This is a longer trip that passes through many river caves and takes around 3 hours with stops at some of the riverside temples.
9. Cycle around the rice paddies
The best way to see Ninh Binh is from the seat of a bicycle. Many hotels will have free bicycles or ones to rent for a few dollars. If yours doesn’t, check at nearby hotels and shops. Getting around the central main attractions near Tam Coc is really easy and it is always nice to simply go where the wind takes you. The paths between the rice paddies are especially pretty.

Hanoi is known as the capital of Vietnam and is one of the most developed city of Vietnam tourism industry. Hanoi is famous for 36 streets and a lot of famous historical sites such as Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Temple of Literature, One pillar Pagoda. In addition, Hanoi street food is also very special and is highly rated by many cuisine magazines in the world. Hanoi is also one of the safest destinations in the world. However, there are still exist bad things such as robbery, fraud … Now, we will point out 5 things that you should never miss when you are going to Hanoi, in the hope that you have a perfect trip.
I) 5 Things to avoid When walking in the streets in Hanoi
First up, survey your surroundings. Remember that traffic in Vietnam drives on the right-hand side of the road. When you are on the road, you always have to look around before crossing the road. Because in Hanoi, the means of transport seem rarely give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross the minor road. Only if you feel safe, you should go and do not use mobile phone.
You should always take your private property such as mobile phone, camera, money ,… with you. That would be a nice way to be safer, you should wear a bag in front of the chest.Because some thieves often take advantage of your backpack to pick your pocket.
When you want to buy something like food, souvenirs, clothes and the first thing you should ask price before buying. Because in Hanoi, a lot of sellers often say higher prices for tourists than local peoples. You can make a bargain and pay the price from low to high, until you feel that it is suitable for the value of the product.
You want to take Taxi or Motor taxi but you do not know the name of the famous and safe taxi companies. So we will give you some tips, you should remember: Before you get in the car, you have to give the address, and ask price in advance. You should check the distance shown on the GPS and compare with driver’s offer, you pay only the Km shown on the GPS. The normal price for taxi is from 12.000VND up to 16.000VND for 1 Km. In addition, when the driver returns small change you should check carefully before leaving. Because sometimes the driver will return you with money not in face value or with counterfeit money.
If you come to Vietnam, you will know that street vendors and shoeshine boys are every wherein Hanoi old quarter. They often invite you for high prices or they will put food in your hands then make you buy at any cost. If you do not really need you should definitely talk and leave. In case you want to buy,you should bargain with them. The price for 1time brush shoe is from 10,000 up to the most expensive is 20,000. And the price for some fruit or donuts is about 15,000 to 30,000.
II) Book tour at Travel Agent in Hanoi :
If you are in need of a tour package for your holiday such as Halong, Sapa, Ninh Binh or laundry service, rent a bike or motorbike … You can ask for information at hotel where you are staying. But normally, in some hotels, their prices will always be higher than Travel Agency in Hanoi.
However, if you want to book tours at Hanoi Travel Agent, you should note the following issues:
– Always you should check carefully itineraries, photographs and prices of tours that are the same kind of tours you have asked at hotel. Sometimes there are several Travel Agencies will give you better price than the price of hotel. But that’s probably 1 not prestigious Office, maybe they will set for you other image and itinerary which they have shown you.
-Always you should consider carefully Travel Agent whether if they have an address, website details and clear or not? Sometimes their hotline or name card is also one of the factors to consider as prestigious Travel or not? If their office does not have a clearly address so we suggest you should not book tour with them to avoid other undesirable things during your trip.
– If you want to book tour with Travel Agents you should check the list of reputable Travel Agency in Hanoi on Tripadvisor page or with Google search. Then you can come and book tour at that office. You can choose to stay at Hostel or Hotel with ability to pay, in Hanoi Homestay model highly developed nowadays, this model is suitable for those who want to go private or family travel.
When coming to Hanoi. the best way is to choose places in the heart of the old quarter, because it is convenient for you to visit, go shopping and enjoy foods. You can make hotel reservations through online booking sites such as Agoda, Booking, Expedia.com, it is easy for you to find a hotel that fits your criteria. Moreover, that won’t take long. Because when you book a room on these pages, you are assured that the hotel has arranged a room as your request. However, you should choose a hotel or a prestigious hostel that is highly appreciated by customers who have stayed to avoid unexpected circumstances occur such as they don’t have room, they don’t get your booking, or the quality of room is not the same as the image provided for the online sale site.
When staying in a hotel we should obey the rules of the hotel, not make noise that affects everyone.
– Staffs in hotels are usually very well trained so they are always friendly and helpful when you need them.

Mua Caves Ninh Binh is said to be the “ Great wall of China”. And the second one is being on a small boat floating over Ngo river the experience gives us a good relaxation time.

On the tour date
In the morning, they set up to pick up at hotel then depart to Ninh Binh.
From Hanoi to Ninh Binh is away about 100 km, after 3 hours arrived in Tam Coc Area at around 10:00 am.
The tour starts by taking a ride boat through Ngo river to explore Hang Ca (First Grotto), Hang Hai (Second Grotto), Hang Ba (Third Grotto). I felt the women on her boat very strong while using her 2 legs to drive the boat ! One the river many products are sold such as water, snacks, lotus, fruits…more interesting most of rider on the boats can speak English even some of them can speak plus Chinese, Korean…
For more than 1 hour on ride boat, the next time for biking around Tam Coc area. Just from 35 minutes to 45minutes you’ll find temple, local people, river, field..on your way passing the road. This is my first time I really understand a Vietnamese local life, i was impressed on watching everything around, they are all pretty.
Ending some activities in the morning we were to the car and move to our local restaurant to Enjoy Cooking Class making delicious fried spring rollsserved with traditional cuisine in a restaurant at 11h30pm, I can’t remember the name of that restaurant but food and service tastes so good.
When it came to 1.30 pm a bus take us to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. We visited Ding king temple and Le king temple in the 10th century.
Last of the trip, they took us to visit Mua Caves Ninh Binh. Our guide explained that Mua means dancing, in Vietnamese they call it Hang Mua. The Mua Caves is not too much impressive until you are on the peak to admire the beauty of Ninh Binh below
After that, back to Restaurant for relaxing and enjoy tea or coffee before Car drive back to Hanoi. The trip ends at 6:30 pm, we had a great time in the Tam Coc Mua Cave Tour. Our guide is another gift, he was very informative about history and helpful. The Limousine is comfortable. We arrived in Hanoi at 7:15 pm. We pay the money for a right tour in Vietnam
If you wouldn’t to do this place with the group tour. And would like to explore most beauty of Mua Cave Ninh Binh by your self. There are 3 ways at-a-glance to consider which way you should use for your trip :
1 . Train to Ninh Binh, visiting Mua Cave
